Google review scorecard
How does your listing stack up against the businesses down the road? Search your name and get graded on the three numbers Google's map ranking actually cares about: review count, rating, and freshness.
What the grades mean
Review count is compared with the median of up to five nearby businesses of the same type: customers compare you against them, so raw numbers matter less than beating the street.
Rating below 4.4 starts costing you customers — most people filter Maps results at 4+ and eyeball the decimals from there.
Freshness is the one everyone forgets: a pile of reviews from 2023 tells Google (and customers) less than a steady trickle from this month. Recency is a local-ranking signal in its own right.
